Review: This story takes place as Duke, which James Garner, read a story about two young people in the 1940s who falls in love, and endure life. The film moves between now and 1940. It is structurally very similar to Fried Green Tomatoes, which is also one of my all time favorite movies.Unlike Fried Green Tomatoes, it's primarily young love as a woman, and resist wars andthe parental dissatisfaction. Of course, the basic theme of Romeo and Juilet, but playing on the road, andthe exceptional charisma enough actors fly ash that feels fresh and not entirely predictable. It's a deeply romantic film.
